Jumping to Conclusions

Filed under: Family — by Heather @ 10:16 am

I’m really trying not to.

But, it’s hard, when all signs point to one particular outcome and you’re a pessimist, on top of it all. Usually, being a pessimist is something that I like. I expect the worst, and then when/if it doesn’t happen, life is good.

It’s not working this time.

And I’m terribly, terribly sad.

  1. Pessimism does usually take the sting out of disappointments and bad stuff, but only the sting – not the ache and nastiness that comes afterward.

  2. I wanted to thank you for my yarn, I’m sorry you are so sad :( I’m a bit like that as well and I don’t know exactly what you are going through exactly but I hope it gets better. (((hugs)))
