Happy Couch Potato Day!

Filed under: Family — by Heather @ 12:49 pm

What, you don’t celebrate Couch Potato Day?

You poor thing.  We’re spending the day doing the least amount of “work” that we can.  I’m knitting, reading, and watching tv.  LouLa gets to watch tv ALL DAY!  Josh is finishing up laundry, but that’s due to his own lack of planning.  I do suspect that doing laundry is just a way for him to have Couch Potato Day every weekend, though. He seems to spend a lot of time watching tv while doing the laundry.  As long as it gets done, I don’t say much.  Better him than me, right?

Things will go back to normal tomorrow, though.  Up at 5, off to school/work at 6:30, home at 4:30, dinner at 5:15, bath at 6:00, bedtime at 7:15.  Rinse, repeat.

I might have pictures next weekend, since I found the magical cord.  Getting back into my usual winter routines will be good.  I’m a girl who loves structure and plans.

  1. I am so with you on the structure thing! I feel like these last few months have been like limbo. And I have teenagers! I never knew when they were coming or going or sleeping or awake. I love September!
